The United States consigned 1393 tons of chemical reactor components, used for 18 months, only transported 48 kilometers

Recently, a US media reported that a large petrochemical reactor was transported by truck to the ExxonMobil plant. The journey took more than a year and it was only transported for 30 miles (48.28032 km).

According to ExxonMobil, the chemical reactor is part of an upgrade to the petrochemical facility in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. One of the three large reactor towers that are transported to the facility is about 100 feet high, 15 feet wide and weighs 700 tons, making it very cumbersome to transport.
